About the IB Programme at LHS
The International Baccalaureate Programme is an internationally recognized and respected set of rigorous academic programmes focused on developing well-rounded, caring, inquiring, and knowledgeable young people. At Loveland High School, we're committed to inspiring our students to excel in IB courses and projects while becoming engaged global citizens.

Middle Years Programme (MYP)
Grades 9-10 • Authorized Since 2011
The MYP is a challenging framework that encourages students to make practical connections between their studies and the real world. Students develop critical thinking, communication, and intercultural understanding skills.
Focus: Building strong academic foundations while fostering personal growth and global awareness.
Diploma Programme (DP)
Grades 11-12 • Authorized Since 2007
The DP is a comprehensive two-year curriculum that leads to a qualification recognized by universities worldwide. Students take courses across six subject groups while completing the core components.
Focus: Academic rigor, international-mindedness, and preparation for university success.
Career Programme (CP)
Candidate School
LHS is currently a candidate school for the Career Programme, which combines academic study with career-related learning. This programme addresses the needs of students who want to focus on career pathways.
