Hall of Fame

Mission Statement

To recognize, celebrate, and honor those who have distinguished themselves through athletics, activities, public service, academic achievement, and professional contributions which serve to enhance the prestige and excellence of Loveland High School and the community.

Nominate a Candidate for the Hall of Fame

The nomination form is available from the Facebook Group, by contacting the Loveland High School Athletic Office, or by emailing LovelandHallofFame@gmail.com. Nomination forms are due in April of each year.

Nomination Criteria / Qualifications

The candidate is/or has been:

  1. A member of the Loveland High School community as a student, athlete, teacher, coach, and/or booster.
  2. Identified as an outstanding member of his/her/their profession. 
  3. Accomplished significant and meaningful achievements in athletics, activities, public service, academics, and/or other professional endeavors. (i.e. – state champion, record holder, award recipient, or other bestowment of note).
  4. An exemplary model for
  5. An exemplary model for others.
  6. A meaningful contributor to the Loveland High School community through philanthropy, volunteer work, and/or other service.
  7. A model of exemplary citizenship and character and/or has demonstrated significant self-improvement.

State Championships teams are automatically inducted into the Hall of Fame within a year of their awarded championship.

In order to maintain the integrity of the Loveland High School Hall of Fame, nominees must exemplify high standards. It is preferred that the nominee’s involvement at LHS has elapsed a minimum of 5 years in order to be considered for the Hall of Fame. The committee will review and discuss nominees at the April business meeting. Inductees are determined based on strict criteria.

The candidate may be living or deceased.

Once final selections have been determined, nominators and inductees will be notified via US mail. All other nominees will remain in an active for a period of five years or until such time they are inducted into the Loveland High School Hall of Fame.
