Through our comprehensive curriculum, students develop critical thinking abilities and gain deeper understanding of the forces that shape our society, both past and present. By understanding the complexities of human society and the lessons of history, our students develop the wisdom and perspective needed to become tomorrow's leaders.

🎓 Social Studies Graduation Requirements

Students must complete 3.0 credits of Social Studies to graduate from Loveland High School.

  • Civics (required)
  • At least 1.0 credit of US or World History
  • Additional social studies electives to reach 3.0 total credits

Our Social Studies department offers a wide range of courses including US History, World History, Government, Economics, Psychology, Sociology, and more. We also offer Advanced Placement (AP) and International Baccalaureate (IB) courses for students seeking advanced study.
