Gifted and Talented (GT) Program at Loveland High School
Our Mission
At Loveland High School, we believe in nurturing the unique abilities and talents of all students. Our Gifted and Talented (GT) Program provides personalized opportunities for academic and creative growth, ensuring every GT student thrives in a supportive and challenging environment.
What We Offer
The GT Program at Loveland High School provides:
- Individualized Learning Plans (ALPs): Tailored to each student’s strengths, interests, and goals.
- Advanced Coursework: Access to honors, Advanced Placement (AP), and concurrent enrollment classes for academic enrichment.
- Mentorship Opportunities: Connection with teachers, counselors, and community members who guide students toward success.
- Leadership Development: Activities and resources designed to foster leadership skills in academics, extracurriculars, and beyond.
- Enrichment Programs: Participation in competitions, clubs, and activities such as National Honor Society, robotics, and creative arts.
Who Qualifies?
GT students are identified based on academic performance, cognitive abilities, and/or exceptional talents in areas such as:
- Mathematics and Science
- Language Arts
- Fine Arts
- Leadership
- Creativity
Key Program Features
- Dedicated Support Staff: GT coordinators and counselors work closely with students and families to support their academic and emotional needs.
- Career and College Readiness: Resources and guidance to help students prepare for their post-secondary goals.
