🖌️ About Our Visual Arts Program

The Visual Arts Department at Loveland High School is home to a dedicated team of visual arts educators who create an inspiring environment where students discover and develop their artistic voice through hands-on creative exploration. Our comprehensive program offers students a rich variety of artistic pathways, including Drawing & Painting, Ceramics & Sculpture, Photography, Studio Art, and Digital Design.

Our art teachers are active artists. They guide students in discovering creativity and learning skills in many art forms. Throughout the year, our talented young artists have opportunities to showcase their work and compete in regional, state, and national exhibitions and competitions.

Loveland High's robust fine arts curriculum fosters both technical mastery and artistic appreciation, integrating art history and critical analysis to develop well-rounded visual artists. Students create strong art portfolios - portfolios that have helped many of our graduates earn art scholarships and admission to prestigious art schools and universities.
