Founded in 1894, Loveland High School is the original high school for students in our community serving grades 9-12. Over the past 125 years, Loveland High School has committed to guiding students to become productive and involved citizens of the world.
Our Mission
Loveland High School is a member of the Thompson School District in Loveland, Colorado. We are a tuition-free public school serving approximately 1,400 students in grades 9-12.
Current students attending LHS have opportunities ranging from AP and IB to Visual and Performing Arts. Students interested in metalsmithing, video production, podcasting, and pottery have expert instruction and lab space. Loveland High currently serves students from many different countries who use English as a second language. We offer several world language classes to include French, German and Spanish.

From Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate programs to hands-on career and technical education, LHS offers pathways for every student's interests and goals.
Loveland, a community of approximately 75,000, is nestled in northern Colorado. Located 50 miles north of Denver, the economic base is diverse with an employment range from professional to semi-skilled with a large representation in the skilled-technical careers. Tourism contributes to the economy in the summer months.
